Moments of Intuition

One time I dreamped about my teeth falling out and when I went to Merriem Websters Dictionary, the word of the day was "edentulous" meaning toothless. I told my mom about the dream before I found that word. She thought it was something.

During the time that Isaac Hayes died, I read an article on Yahoo! saying that Paul Newman died. I told my mom about the article and she couldn't find it. So then three weeks after I read the article, my mom told me that Paul Newman did die. Another somethibg moment.

I remember a time when my mom just got out of the shower and she had the bathroom door open. I paused my tv and said to her "what?" She said to me "I didn't say anything" So then I said to her "I heard you say my name." And that's when it got weird! She said "I was saying your name in my head." Fascinating huh?

In 2009, my 19 year old cat died. For many months, I kept asking my mom for a cat. She said we already have 4. I told her that they are my grandmother's cats and aren't friendly. I wanted a cat who would love me and sleep on my bed like LadyDi-the cat who died-always did. Fast forward to the end of October. I was walking to the store and a cat approached me. He was friendly and affectionate. He followed me to the store and then followed me home. After a week or so, I started letting him sleep on my bed. My brother named him Dusty. He became my new best friend and I'm very happy. He's the cat I had in mind, I kept telling my mom the cat I had in mind and such a cat showed up!

I'm not actually sure how these experiences changed my life, but Dusty has given me fullfillment and happiness.
