Let's revisit passion of the Christ

This is a great movie that deserves recognition but is it sound to any religion that follows these beliefs?

Apologies for the Short post but I am currently Watching the Movie again and want some Weigh ins.

It follows pretty closely the way it states in the scriptures, but what Mel Gibson was striving for was not so much accuracy but the emotional value of what the characters went through, how they must have felt. The 'devil' was portrayed most excellently.
  
Date: 4/22/2014 1:58:00 PM  From Authorid: 48250    I agree with NaniLady, The old "Evil One" was portrayed very well in "The Passion of The Christ" I think Mel Gibson did try to stay close to Biblical Scripture with the exception, Jesus' treatment was so much more vile, so much worse than this T/C
