Thanks Ice Queen. That helps. It's just hard getting a job with no real "experience". I didn't handle money(except for my current pursuit), didn't provide customer service(except for a minute or two). |

PsyGuy,I can recomend from personal experience with unemployment. Look in your phone book for the county you reside in, and see if there is a Vocational Rehabilitation center. The one here helps with job searching,Resume' building and piece rate work. The factory style work isn't much but it helps to put needed money in your pocket while your hunting for a job. I would also recomend going to Goodwills' job center, they have pools of job listing that are not in news papers. Good luck in your search. |

I worked with a professional resume agency, and the top part of your resume is looking good. Name, Email, Phone Underneath place a 3-4 paragraph explaining your accomplishments and experience. Example : Experienced in hospitality and customer service. Accomplished book author inducted into the country music hall of fame, etc.. add under your dates of employment, skills you want to point out, such as computer or related. As well as any education or colleges. Check out a online resume of real resumes to get the feel of how people put together there resumes. http://www.indeed.com/r/Rebecka-Marrero/9090b2f6ed020802 |

It also depends on what job you want to go into - if its retail then ensure you put in the Qualities you have for that particular job. If you are changing occupations provide a description of why you want to work in that field at the top of your resume after your information and why you would benefit that particular business. Sometimes you have to start off small and work your way up. Just getting a foot in the door is the only problem. Good luck |

When you apply for a job, look for the qualifications they want. Usually this is on the Job Description part of what their looking for. Then build your resume to have those skills from previous jobs plus more to make you look more like the ideal candidate.
