I love the heat...even though it means fire season..Fires got quite close to us, very smokey here at the moment...muggy too. |

That has to be a kookaburra bird. I believe it was the kind that was making a huge racket when I was speaking to Zema on the phone a few years ago. I had no idea they were so loud. Beautiful though and smart, I'll bet.  |

Yep, a Kookaburra and yes they are very noisy. We have a family of them around our area....Although at 5am their cackling can be annoying, it is still a wonderful, fun sound to hear... Thanks Ky |
