Green Grows Rich in Color Brown................. ~Wise

We turn gray and then we’re gone,
How can that be so wrong?
Sun rises in your day,
Then the night makes it fade,
Milky Way is just a spot,
So many stars are up there where the Sun is hot,
And in a moment our breath goes away,
The night closes all our days,

Are we just like leaves in winter?
Lives come together in a splinter,
Green grows rich in color brown,
Then everything comes floating down,
In sickness and in health
We say we’re not alone,
Sometimes I think we forgot,
I check for the broken phone,

Life changes just like the weather,
We weren’t meant to be forever,
The older that we get,
We multiply our regret,
What are we living for?
Did you think there would be more?
What concept did you have in mind?
This is your moment in time,

Like the leaves we live and die,
See life happening before your eyes,
Clouds passing high above,
Hold onto the ones you love,
This world is just your trial,
Without love you’re in denial,
Hold on to your last breath,
Taste the air in your death,

We turn gray and then we’re gone,
How can that be so wrong?
Sun rises in your day,
Then the night makes it fade,
Milky Way is just a spot,
So many stars are up there where the Sun is hot,
And in a moment our breath goes away,
The night closes all our days,
