Date: 1/6/2014 12:29:00 PM From Authorid: 998 Very good suggestions from Priscilla and Nani. It might take a bit of money to try some of these items, but they might treat the gum issues from within like the Co-Q10, Vit D and C. I take all of these everyday, and I know my health is much better overall. Maybe you are deficient in those and that is causing the problems you can't seem to fight with a toothbrush and tooth care. Coconut oil seems like it would be strange, but is very good for our health. I let a teaspoon melt in my mouth twice a day, and I see a difference in my health and gums. I also agree with tea tree oil. Just a tiny bit into mouthwash works great. It does not taste good, but works. Good luck. |

Sea salt This treatment may sound simple, but it is one of the most effective. Dissolve a small amount of sea salt in a glass of water, then swish this mixture around in your mouth for thirty seconds three times per day. You may want to try doing this after brushing your teeth. The minerals in the natural sea salt help draw moisture out of your gums and reduce inflammation. Tea bags Black tea contains a compound called tannic acid, which can be very effective in treating gum disease. To take advantage of this property, try brewing a pot of tea with several tea bags. Remove the bags from the pot and let them cool before pressing them against your gums for five minutes. You can also drink the tea you have made; it contains powerful antioxidants that may help your body fight off infections in your gums and elsewhere. wolfie |

People with nut allergies shouldn't use it Coconut oil. |
Date: 1/7/2014 1:47:00 PM From Authorid: 64365 1tblsp of coconut oil is recommended per day. It is a better pre-shampoo treatment than oil made from petroleum products and an awesome skin moisturizer, as well. Your whole body can be treated with it, inside and out...AND, you can cook with it. It's a great fat buster, too. |
