As many of you know, my special needs cat, Clara passed away about 11 months ago. She was paralyzed in the rear legs, but with physical therapy and care was able to walk with a wheel chair. She never regained bladder control, and so I had to express her every 4-6 hours. Unfortunately, she developed cancer in her sinuses and I held her as she was euthanized. I finally feel as though I'm ready to adopt another Persian from a shelter. I found this lovely girl, she has been at the shelter for awhile (I'm guessing it's because she has all her claws, which is fine with me). Her name is Sangria and she is three years old. If all goes well, she will be the youngest cat I ever adopted. My first adopted Persian was 18, and Clara was 13 when I got her. I filled out the application, and today I'm supposed to have a phone interview, if all goes well I will be picking her up in a couple of weeks. The shelter is about five hours away, so I have to plan ahead of time. Can everyone send me good vibes/positive energy? I've already fallen in love with this kitty.
