Story............................~Wise

Young man I came to appreciate who lived more and did more than I ever did has passed at the age of 16 recently. He had complications with chronic Graf versus Host Disease following his bone marrow transplant in a long battle with Leukemia. His motto was Breathe In.....Breathe Out.....Move On! He was a friend to all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. He lived life to its fullest and tried to "look for the rainbow" in the storm clouds each and every day. He was an artist and a guitarist, both of these talents coming to fruition after he was diagnosed with Leukemia. He loved the trails. Today I thought of him looking at his Art and his endless fight to educate and support those who needed it with his disease. He was something.

Story

Let my finger lose the ring
We all have our own story
Release the soul to death’s sting
Sliding from here to glory

Sunset comes to wash over me
Winds are gentle to the mind
Take me on to the infinity sea
Free from the measure of time

No thoughts of love or wrath
No labor in the last breath
In the dark a light on this path
Sweetly smile at this death

Wasn’t born a pauper or king
Free at last from life’s debt
Death has no glorious sting
Heaven isn’t cold or wet

Lived my life with all my might
Made my mark far and wide
Did not care about wrong or right
Only that my love won’t hide

Sun rises in the east
Think of me behind a star
Now I sit at the heavenly feast
I left a story for where you are

Let my finger lose the ring
We all have our own story
Release the soul to death’s sting
Sliding from here to glory
