ThE Doll"HER" Store

Once there was a little dollar store at the west end of town. it was run by an old woman by the name of Lorna. loved by many, she was a widowed woman with no children. (although often she was seen holding what seemed to be a child) she enjoyed her store and the help it had brought to the community.

she loved her kittens, her dog, her small apartment above the store, but most of all she loved her doll.

her doll was given to her by her grandmother when she was 9 years old. it was said that the doll was very old and would love whomever owned her. it would protect and keep bad spirits away. lorna really liked the doll and cherished it daily.

the doll itself was one of those 3ft. dirty old dolls that when picked up or put down, would blink its' eyes although the doll had no eyes. it was weathered and was missing the paint around the chin. the mouth of the doll was the worst however. it was cracked open and drooped to the side, there was a hole all the way to the back of the neck. yet to lorna it was her whole life since childhood. and each and every morning lorna would hug her precious doll and ask how her day was.

one day unexpectedly a burglar made his way into the dollar store after hours.

he was taking everything he could find. next he went for the cash register. try as he might he could not get it open. lorna happened to wander in with her beloved doll in her arms. as she approached the thief he looked up. his flashlight shaking violently as he saw the hideous doll she held.

the burglar announced that he didn't want any trouble but had a gun if he had to use it. lorna came closer and spoke to the man in a swaying slur...

before the robber could respond his flashlight caught the creepy doll in full view!...AgHHaDDH!!! the doll spoke at the man with the gun in lornas voice..."CREEPY"...suddenly the man fell to the ground. he could feel the pressure in his brain begin to push through his eyes as bloody salty tears were torn right out of his head. the battered man screamed out for help...his voice was grasped in mid-scream as he felt his vocal chords being ripped from his throat and the veins in his neck pulled out of the back.....

Lorna stepped beside all off this as she giggled for a moment. she then picked up the doll with an over glare in her eyes. she put the doll to bed upstairs and cleaned the bloody mess.

the next morning when lorna woke up with her doll by her side she asked it how her day was. the doll turned its' head ever so slightly. lorna held the doll closer...it had the eyes and mouth of the man she had killed that night before....it spoke "creepy,,,who is creepy now" the doll raised its' hand and pointed to the mirror. lorna looked into the great mirror and saw (her) face was now the dolls, and when she looked back the doll had her face................

....and when lorna looked back at the mirror she wasn't even there!......it was her grandmother holding the doll with fire around them.

the end.

How it changed my life:

now was it really worth it to rob that dollar store?
