I recently went to a Wildlife Park here in Australia...thought you might like some pics of our gorgeous native animals..

The first one is of a Koala...many people call them Koala Bears, but that isn't correct.                                                                                                            The next two are of a female wombat....so cute.

I love this huge tortoise...                                                                                                               Just a couple of Taipans...one of the most poisonous snakes in the world.........                              Emu...

...

....Tasmanian Devil                                                                                                      Boxing Kangaroos....

Date: 11/4/2013 3:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 998    Wonderful photos !!! I just love to see the type of animals you have in your part of the world. Doesn't everyone love to see Koala's. So glad you told us what a Taipan was. I never would have guessed it was a snake. Those Kangaroos look to have pretty long nails. It could turn into a scratching match more than a boxing one.

If you got near those kangaroos whilst they were fighting, you'd certainly come out second best...

The wombats are so cute, and yes, odd.

It was actually two taipans Ginger, wrapped up with each other...
