'Haunted' eBay Items .:WerewolfClairewolf:.

Goodness, it's been a while! :)

I'm not entirely sure what compelled me, but earlier I had an urge to go on eBay and see what assortment of haunted items were listed. By nature, I am a very paranoid person in regards to things I haven't yet experienced. All the items listed that I'm interested in have only positive and benevolent energies attached according to the sellers, but I can't help thinking what if it's actually a negative energy?

Have any of you purchased a haunted item from eBay? Was it legitimately haunted? How was your experience with it?

Oh! And for context, the items I'm interested in are types of jewelry listed as "once belonging to a witch and will bring you good luck!" or "the spirits attached will bring you positive thinking and wealth!" and things of that nature. I mention that because I'm curious if there's a difference between those and items like - for example - dolls that have regular spirits attached to them.

Date: 9/27/2013 11:53:00 AM  From Authorid: 63121    I've always looked at haunted ebay items Very cool stuff. I've noticed alot less now then there used to be. Some I think are totally fake, and other ones... I think would be creepy. Haha. I guess you don't really know what you're going to get. If a spirit or energy is attatched to an item, even if claimed to be good, can attract other things. That's what I'd worry about. I've so wanted to buy a haunted item, but who knows what it can start in your home.

D: But in any case, I bit the bullet and placed a bid on a ring that purportedly has a benevolent mermaid attached to it. Even if it didn't, it still was a very pretty ring, so I wouldn't be cheated if it turned out to be fake. I won the ring.

Date: 9/28/2013 12:08:00 PM  From Authorid: 11097    I don't think I would purchase anything listed as haunted only because you never know exactly what is attached to the object. I actually didn't even know you could go onto ebay and search for haunted items, lol... very interesting.
Date: 9/28/2013 9:32:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 66755    Oh yes, Zelana! There's even a specific category for haunted items, though due to the new policies on eBay saying you can't sell things advertised as having a spell placed on them or cursed or things of that nature, sellers have to put a disclaimer that the item in question is just an item.
Date: 10/1/2013 2:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 31255    I was once thought about, but decided against it. It would be interesting to hear any updates on your experience or lack of experiences with this ring.
Date: 11/13/2013 3:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 26227    I have an old hand made ouija board that I got in a box of junk at an auction. Never did anything with it but ever since I've had it strange things have been going on. I was thinking about selling it on eBay but I don't know
Date: 3/20/2014 4:32:00 PM  From Authorid: 67228    Eeeekkk! I believe in that kinda stuff and in no way would wanna own anything! Ed and Lorraine Warren ( supposed demonologists) claim to have owned many cursed items. Idk, if i believe i them as i think the Amityville horror- which they were involved in- was proven fake.
