Yes. I am totally doing the triple dog dare.

I haven't posted in quite awhile. :/ In fact, I'm not even sure if most people would remember me, but... I'm doing it anyway. :)

Sooooo... whats happened in the past year? My youngest turned two. He had a really rough start, he only gained eight lbs his first year, but we found out, right before his first birthday, that he had a level 4 lip tie. He was never able to take a bottle, and wasn't able to get a spoon, or any food into his mouth, and was unable to really move at all. He couldn't roll over, crawl, anything. After he had surgery, ten days before he turned one, things happened fast. By the time he hit fourteen months between his speech therapist and I, we had taught him how to eat food. He stopped all physical therapy, and learned to walk at fifteen months. So, now, a year and a half later he's amazing. He varies between 23 and 25 lbs, he drives his older sister nuts, has an amazing sense of humor, and my favorite - has completely caught up to other toddlers his age.

My daughter just turned eight. We have taken her out of school and begun homeschooling. It's been hard, not gonna lie, but really only because we have been working so hard on getting her up to grade level. Thanks to her old schools interpretation of "No child left behind" and their serious lack of special education funding, my daughter, and quite a few others were just passed from grade to grade, whether or not they had actually learned anything. She is doing amazing tho!!! In the past six months she has learned the days of the week, months of the year, seasons, and has pretty much finished first grade (tho I think we will be in first grade math for awhile). She is getting huge too, which weirds me out. I am only 4'11" and she is coming up on me quick. She wears size ten/twelve clothes!

We also moved six months ago. We had been living in a tiny, black mold infested apartment, for the past... six/seven? years. Finally we moved this spring to a new town, a new state, and our little house is amazing. It's actually a duplex, with an inlaw apartment attached, but really, its a house!! We have an upstairs and downstairs, a basement, three bedrooms, a massive living room, a nice big kitchen and a playroom. Oh, and my favorite, a big deck, and yard!! (And yes, there is a bathroom too. But... really, who cares about bathrooms... besides knowing there is one?)

And now, I am off to utilize that big deck. The little boy and I have a ritual of siting out there before bedtime, cuddling, nursing and listening to a playlist on 8tracks called sleepytime juice. Yeah, thats one of my most favorite times of the day.

I hope you all are having an amazing week!!!!

Thank you Zema. I think they are pretty cute, myself. I can't believe E is two and a half!! That kills me!!! He acts like such a little boy now, instead of a baby, but I do LOVE the person he is and his personality. And I think Adia is beautiful. She has such a great personality and is so pretty and she doesn't even realize it!!
