A Wonderful Day in Our Part of the World ~Ginger~

It's a great day here. Around 72 degrees and wonderfully sunny. For those who do not know, we live just outside Seattle Washington.

Tonight we had a few of our friends drop by. Drooler .. she is quite old with a cataract in one eye, but we know she can see out of it when she looks up at us. Oh, I nearly forgot to tell ya why we call her Drooler. She is missing her one of her lower teeth on the bottom jaw, so when she eats she drools ... LOL

The other friend who dropped by was Scout. We think she is a two year old who is really sweet. She climbs up on the deck railing, and peeks in the breakfast room at us. She tips her head from side to side and she is just too cute. She got her name because she is always on the move, scouting things out.

Then if that weren’t enough, we had a really sweet mama and her triplets stop by. They like to come for a little dinner, but then the kiddos just love to stay and play and play and play. Still at 3 and 4 in the morning .. yes, AM hours .. they are still out on the decks sounding like it is their own personal jungle-gym.

Did I mention that these friends of ours are, well … furry to say the least.

Did I mention that they all wear masks?

If you didn’t figure it out by now, I’ll tell ya … they are all Raccoons.

Date: 9/22/2013 8:01:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 998    Thank you everyone for reading my post. Kronk, we have seen so much intelligence from these raccoons. I think many people just think of them as the garbage dumping critters, but we know the personalities of each of our wild friends. I'll bet your mothers pet raccoon just wanted you to show it attention, and when your friends came over you spent far too much time with them instead ...
