Luck of the Irish~Psyguy

I wrote this one today:

I was in Vegas with a friend of mine
he told me to be a hundred on red five
today is your lucky day
I'm wearing my luck of the Irish charm
you can't go wrong with them on your side
so I placed my bet and watched the little ball
go round and round
'til it landed on the black ten
I looked at him and all he could say was my bad

He told me his grandpa said the luck of the Irish
would never let you down
then a man turned around and said
you need to throw that charm away
as fast as you can and don't gamble with charms
all they do is bring you bad luck

My friend got freaked out and ran back to his room
and found a note on his pillow that read:
Sorry, I was walking down the main strip
and bumped into an old boyfriend and
we decided to give it another try
I took all my belongings to his house
sorry for this,
Christina

And he sat down and cried
threw the charm against the wall
wondered why it was so lucky for his grandpa
but we'll never know
all he could hear now was the words of the old man in the bar

you need to throw that charm away
as fast as you can and don't gamble with charms
all they do is bring you bad luck
