My friend was called on my landline earlier this evening. That sounds normal except for one detail about it:
I wasn't home. LOL
I was gone from about 5:30 until almost 9. I got home and noticed there was a missed call displaying on my phone. It was the mobile phone of one of my friend's moms. I called back and got my friend's brother (her son) who is currently living there, and asked why his mom had phoned. He said that she had gotten a call from my landline, on her mobile phone, only no one responded when she said "hello". She kept repeating hello without an answer and finally gave up and handed it to him, and all he heard was a guy talking in the background (which sounded like me!) and papers rustling like they were being crumpled. This was apparently not long after 7, and during that time I was not in the apartment. o.O I know the first thing one thinks about is a "butt dial", but again: it was not a mobile phone but a home phone, and a cordless one at that, that was on the charger!
The only explanation I have for it is that someone with some sophisticated equipment "has my number" (pun not intended) that allows them to tap my line and/or make a call from them seem like it's coming from my home phone, or it's some weird fluke with the phone lines crossing, or, there is some type of spirit in here making trouble.
In any case, it's never happened before and is hopefully an isolated incident. How it changed my life:It hasn't. LOL Just a weird one...... You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or
