In the post I dreamt I was back in my first house, and went up the stairwell and slept in my old bedroom..
But it wasn't easy cause after we moved out in 1997, I kept having nightmares about the house, and I always stood at the bottom of the stairwell, always looking up to the dark rooms upstairs.
I couldn't go up, cause there was an evil presence up there.

Fast forward to last week when I found out it was up for rent, the first time I knew about it in the 16 years since we moved out.
I had to go back to see how much has changed, and it really hasn't except the Kitchen was rearranged and remolded.
However we are not going to rent it cause it's in a slightly bad neighborhood, and to me it would be weird going back to the first house. It be like recreating my past, when it can't be recreated.
It would be traumatic and like a "Twilight Zone" episode.....(though I think it would make a great book)....
