Maybe not aliens, but it was still "unidentified" and "flying!" lol!! My husband and I along with my sis-in-law's boyfriend saw something a year or 2 back. We were at a block party and it was after dark so they were starting a movie on the side of the garage. Nick and I noticed this lit up object WAY up in the air. It sort of kept moving straight up and up and up and then took a sharp turn, like at a 90 degree angle - it was an odd movement that I, too, was astounded by like yourself with your UFO! Never did figure out what it was b/c it eventually flew way off and we couldn't see it anymore. Do I think it was little green men? Probably not, but I am excited by the possibility that it COULD have been otherworldly! I don't for a second believe that we are alone in this big of a universe, but I'm not convinced people are being abducted and probed either. lol!!   |

Whilst I'm not convinced about people being 'taken by aliens' etc, I do have an open mind about UFO's even though I've never witnessed anything out of the ordinary flying around in the sky. I do often wonder about other beings around in the universe...  |

I've seen real ufos in that I couldnd't identify them. They could have been anything and since a military base was close by my guess was that it was some new aircraft being tested by the military. After reading this post I went in search of UFO sightings in Texas, and came across a treasure trove of stories of sightings. I believe we are not alone, and I believe that any ET that we come across is going to be humanoid in appearance rather than look like giant lizards, preying mantis's and roaches...or psychic, acid wielding blobs of organic space matter that no matter how slow moving it is, it can capture it's object of culinary desire. ight I did have a close call one night while driving home after a long day at work. I had to go see my dad before I went home, and he lived 14 miles away in the opposite direction of where I lived. when the visit was finished I had a 17 mile drive to the Ferry Landing in Galveston, an hour wait for a ferry, and a 22 mile commute to my home on the Bay. It was late at night and I kept noticing that even though I was pretty much alone on the road, there were lights following me and I could see them keeping steady pace with me in my rear view mirror...I finally decided to stop the car on the side of the road and watch. When I got out of the car the lights were gone. I don't know where they went...I looked all over the sky for any sign but could see nothing. when I got back into my car they weren't showing in the rear view mirror anymore. They were much too big to be stars and they weren't reflections of anything. I continued my journey home, and never saw the lights, again.  |

Hubby and I have seen a lot of strange things in the sky over the years. The latest experience was in 2010 while driving home late at night, I saw two lights in the sky (looked like basketball size, really big) and I assumed I was seeing a plane coming in for a landing. As I'm watching I'm thinking they are too big and the plane would have to be really low. I turned my head and looked at hubby and he was busy driving and didn't see them. Didn't see these big orbs!!! when I looked for them they were gone. BTW, there were no blinking lights which a plane would have had and no noise. Then a little further on the drive I saw one of the orbs on the hill top, again it looked too big....lost it again. A little bit later I looked out my window upward and there was a blue aura in the shape of an open L or V. Funny thing was, I didn't say anything to my hubby all this time. I later told my daughter-in-law about it and she told me a woman in the next town saw something and took a picture of it and put it in our small town newspaper. My DIL kept the article and she showed it to me and it was a pix of a bright light. I don't know what it was but it wasn't anything I can explain.  |

USM just wouldn't have been the same without you three all these years. Zema, Sunflower Psychic and Ice Queen .. never give up. You just might run into a little green guy one of these lonely nights ..  Paula, I have to say that your UFO experience beats all !!!  I've had the same thing happen to my purse, but I had no idea it was aliens all along ...   |

Just very recently I was watching a show on Nat Geo about UFOs and Alien Abduction. On the other hand, i've read that science suggests that a phenomena such as 'sleep paralysis' account for the most of reported 'abductions'. I've never seen one and it would really scare me if I did. Like so, very scared.. O.O  |

Abbyyyy, I can totally believe that 'sleep paralysis' might feel like abductions. I have never experienced 'sleep paralysis', but I have two relatives that have. The way the describe it, it seems pretty terrifying usually. |

I had two experiences, both when I was a child. One, I remember clearly being on the playground in elementary school, and a big group of kids watched along, as this silver disc (looked frisbee shaped) was up in the sky. And the other happened, when I was in the car with my parents and sister. It was at night. And there were these lights flashing it seemed just above the tree line. I remember being terrified. It was moving and we were split on whether to follow it. My dad and I wanted to drive and get away from it. While my mother and my sister, were begging to follow it. Thank goodness my dad was driving so we got out of there! My mother and I just talked about this recently, and she says she still hates that we didn't follow it and try to figure it out. Not me! I'm a wimp!!  |

This was back in the 70's and I wasn't born until 76. So I just recall the older folks talking about it. But we used to have a man named Stanley Ingram, who had a regular column and he often wrote about the paranormal. We had another neighbor who claimed a visit from Bigfoot, trying to kick his way into the house. And this was written about as well. Lol! you can't make this stuff up! My weird community here. Actually with the UFO story, this happened before my family moved out here in the eighties. My parents actually bought the land that he claimed the flying saucer released him on. My mom and dads field. There is no scorch marks there that I ever saw. |

I seen one for a second maybe a half. years ago it was a cigar shape.I live along Lake Erie and I have heard some very strange things going on in the skies and near peoples home.One guy I talk to a few days ago said last year he saw a C 130 flying very low and in the front of it was a square object with light around it and it was very translucent.Wish at the time he had a camera.He carries one with him at all time.I know we are not alone.  |
