Well, SmoknJoe was feeling under the weather this weekend, wouldn't you know now that the weekend has come to a close, I myself am starting to feel manky (word I picked up years ago, really it means like it sounds, just don't feel good), well that is generally how it goes.
None the less we felt adventerous this weekend, and decided to eat Vietnamese, maybe it was just the place we ate at, but we weren't too impressed, Jr even throwed the food down on the floor. Not too long after, our tummies weren't happy with us either. If you're ever in Fayetteville, I wouldn't reccomend Siagon Bistro.
Tomorrow I plan on making some home made strawberry jam, will be my first time attempting jam solo, I'm hoping that it turns out well. At the very least, I'm hoping for syrup
We had to block one side of our driveway today (well, mine anyway) it is shaped like a Y, we live right off a curve, so it has always been easier (and safer) to drive down the shoulder when you were turning one way. Well, when people were coming in from that way, they started running over our water meter. So we put up an iron stob in front of the water meter, with solar lights on it, and a red flag, so people could see the stob. Well, last night someone pulled up the stob, threw it in the yard, and intentionally ranover our water meter, completely cracking the protective plastic casing to the ground, and shattering the lid into about 5 pieces. So, as a last resort, we completely blocked off one side of the drivway with 4x4 posts with rreflectors. And seeing as how there were two entrances to the driveway, it was perfectly legal, dobody is denied access.
SmoknJoe put up a swing for jr in the building behind his house, Jr loves the swing, Joe is jealous cause he can't fit into it
Going to the next county over tomorrow as well and getting my transcript from the community college where I was taking high school classes, and transfer to the local CC to finish up. I've only got two credits left, Hoping I can get them done in a month's time. Since I'm not made out for nursing, and welding not being too profitable in my area right now, I figure I'll do the nail tech. I shall learn how to do the squiggly line-squiggly line- dot - dot - dot (Viola) Art. The course isn't that long, and the class hours/days are few. That way I'll only have to worry about a sitter for two days a week.
Anyone else have some highlights of their weekend to share? Anyone plan on doing something interesting?
