hi. -hugs-. has anyone noticed not only online but, also offline it seems like noone has ANY sense of humor anymore. it's like everyones either drained, or something.i guess it's because of all the chaos, and stuff.

either this is the end times, and zombie apocolypse is actually referring to humorless people OOOR we're in a modern day version of the great depression. they both make sense BUT,

the great depression seems right. because everythings more expensive, and hard to buy, and everyones going through real life issues', theres chaos all over the world.etc. sooo,...are we in another "great depression"?.what do you believe/think america'll be like

in the future?.the way things are going i kinda sense it'll be another fallen country with a whole new rising culture/future. what do you think the u.s'll be like in the future? i try to find a list of true 2013 and beyond predictions but,

sites that have you having to buy their books, or pay for a reading are all i can find. lets face it: overcommercializim, and advertisements' are going to be u.s's downfall. whats next?...another lost country?

a devided u.s[it wont be called the u.s if they do that ]?, who knows what'll becomeof N.america in the future. plus i notice that: everything that is being used in one century started in another. like everything in the 21st century started in the 20th century.

by the 22nd century smartphones, touch screens, ect may be a modern thing then THAT century'll be inventing things for the future one. so, in a way it seems like things are being made for the future generation, not us.

Date: 4/27/2013 4:34:00 PM  From Authorid: 998    I think the USA will stay together. We are slowly rebuilding and energizing the economy. I wish things were getting better faster .. but that they are going in a positive direction is really good.

Date: 4/27/2013 8:43:00 PM  From Authorid: 66650    It is much better to feel you are totally ok and die right after! Than to live a long life and fear the whole time something at any moment might be wrong! and never know peace! I agree with you good story!
Date: 4/27/2013 9:35:00 PM  From Authorid: 21435    Hiya, Rini. Your post really got me to thinking. I am afraid that I may be losing my sense of humor. I just don't seem as fun, anymore. I dunno'? To me, highs and lows have always been a personal thing. These days, (it seems to me, anyway,) whole classes of peoples are down. See what I mean? I feel like a stick in the mud. Ugh! Anyway, don't put a whole lot of stock in my rant. I need more wine. Write on......
Date: 4/28/2013 2:57:00 AM  From Authorid: 54570    Everybody is desenstized. Same thing for horror and etc. We got used to everything.
Date: 4/28/2013 10:52:00 AM  From Authorid: 66512    in the future? the future is now...i predict more horror such as bombings and attacks. take a good look at america, when ever something happens we never retaliate, such as 9/11, the begining of all the terorist acts. now people are shooting up schools and theaters ect. and alot of theses people are americans. you know the world has changed when americans are shooting children, are we just as bad a third world counries now
? reality is not so cheery anymore i am a afraid to say.
Date: 4/28/2013 12:18:00 PM  From Authorid: 28848    I think by sense of humor, you can attribute that to general attitude, and it does seem that as we get older, we realize that things aren't as carefree as we once thought. We become more aware of serious issues. It doesn't mean that there is no longer a sense of humor, only that our perspective has changed.

As for being in a "depression", I don't really think that's the case at all. It's more like an economic evolution. It is an evolving of our economy, the financial structure of our society, and our way of life. I think as the future progresses we will see three groups of individuals in society; the extreme wealthy, the middle class (which to others will be seen as wealthy), and the extreme impoverished. We pretty much have that now, except in the future, I think those defining lines between classes will become much more defined. I think you will begin to see those lines more defined as the government proceeds at taking more control and more of our individual rights away.

Date: 4/29/2013 12:30:00 PM  From Authorid: 27403    I think you are right, Animestar! I think laughter is way down. And I, too, think is may have something to do with the state of the economy. We were on the verge of a tremendous depression and working our way out of that has taken a toll on everyone. And, it feels like we are still in a depression. We can no longer afford cable, and must ration our gasoline and try to watch all money we spend. It was not always like that. So, perhaps my smile is a little slower and my sense of humor has been lost. I will try to do better! Love and Light
