I have had my aunt, grandpa, grandma, my mom, and my friends mom who all passed come to me in my dreams. These past few days my mom has been in my dreams talking to me. I like to try to "cross" over and to do it I get into bed, clear my mind of all things, shut my eyes, and lightly breathe. I just focus on trying to clear a path for us to communicate. I would suggest trying that first.  |

My advice is not to mess with ouija. For one thing, how could you be sure you're in contact with the person you want to be in contact with? There is no way of knowing for sure. I don't blame your mom or Grandfather for not allowing them because I'm the same way!  |

Qujia boards are evil! Dont mess with one, they open portals and if you can't close them you will have alot of issues on your hands! There are other ways to communicate with a spirit. That are alot safer! Ask the spirit to come in your dreams, is a good way. Have a candle out and ask yes and no questions, have them move the flame if its a yes. But plz dont use a Qujia board! You dont want a demon on your hands, use a safer method to communicate with a spirit. Like I said dreams are the best way. Do some more research.   |

First, I am sorry to hear about your great grandmother *hugs* I want to tell you it is normal to be curious about these things, especially if you think there is a chance to communicate with a loved one who has passed on. My mother passed away almost 19 years ago, when I was 10 years old. I know what it's like to have all these questions in your mind and trying to find answers. I have played with a ouija board, although I never ever asked about my mother, and I am glad I didn't. The ouija board attract low energy, low energy meaning a low vibration of energy (negative energy) and these energies or spirits can mimic loved one who have passed on but it is often deceiving. The more you attribute your energy connecting with this lower energy it will gain more strength and can manifest in your home- causing a haunting or paranormal activity. It is better to not put so much emotion and energy into a tool that can draw your energy and give it to lower beings. I would tell you my opinion is to never play with it or bring it into the house. There are numerous stories on here talking about negative experiences with it. Click on the ouija category on the left hand side and read about these stories, I have posted some of mine as well. If you are truly interested in communication with energies, try seeking out someone with abilities or learning to enhance your own. It is much safer and you are in control of your own energy. The thing about using the Ouija board is you never know just who you're talking to. They can 'say' they're the person you want to communicate with, but they may not 'be' that person. Even worse, they could possibly be a malevolent entity and that's not something you want to invite into your home. If you're really set on doing this, though, I would recommend taking precautions: using white candles, saying a protective prayer beforehand, don't do it alone, and other such things.  |

Stay away from Ouija boards.. they are not evil but they are a portal or open one. And unless you know what you are doing you can never be sure of the 'truth' coming through them. In the end its close to them controlling you and not the other way around. There are better ways of getting what you seek.  |

My advice is to stay away from ouija stuff. Every time I've heard about someone encountering with it... all it does is make portals for demons from what I'm aware of. It's not a safe thing to deal with. There's been cases of people becoming possessed after messing with one.  |

I would not mess with one. I have before and after it, there were some strange things that happened. I've heard stories from family memebers of their experiences with the board and because of them and my experience, I will not touch one again. I do still have mine and its in the storage room put up but I will NOT ever use it again or let our girls use it. It can channel a lot of bad energies into the house and I don't want to risk that and I think you shouldn't either. Especially being you haven't touched one before. Good luck with what you are wanting to do, just be very careful if you do chose to go along with it! |

Have ben dealing with the blasted thing and the "issues it caused" for 50 of my 66 yrs, more or less and I gained more than respect for it, try loathing for what it is capable of doing or allowing others to do. If you still have it, put it away, forget about it, and get on with your life, If you continue to deal with it, well, just be careful what you wish for. |

Hi,, I have a few opinions; first off, if its not allowed in the house , please respect your parents wishes not to have a Ouija board in the house. This is called trust, it goes both ways. Secondly, the Ouija board is a divinatory device ,"not a toy", it is more like a telephone to the unseen around us. Spirits are good and many bad very bad. A physical person can hurt you by body damage and trama to emotions. Spirits can attack you in the dark, make you fear for your life, and send terror through your dreams also affect your mind violently. If what I have said has not persuaded you from a Ouija board, read every thing about spirits, mediums, parapsychology (Duke University, North Carolina). The best spirit I can recommend is the spirit of Love, mentioned in the Holy Bible (king james version).  |
