...from your title, I was starting to think your friend died while attempting to steal copper wire from a live line. When I was a kid, my dad had this distributor/magneto from his drag car. He had the part in the kitchen and asked me to hold on to on of the wires. I did. He gave the shaft a spin and *ZOINK*, I got my first lesson on electrical generation. I'm curious, same as Zema. Did your friend electrocute himself or did he fall off the bicycle? |

Now the voltage limiters yes. there are plans on the net that will allow you to change the voltage outputs to 120 or 240 at the flip of a switch with a few modifications. The GM alternators are the easist to do. One wire hookups. Starter/Generator combos are the best. they produce electricity with no power input. Magnets take care of that. |
