Hi. just wanted to know if anyone else here has heard of the slenderman or the scarman?

i have heard of the slenderman for a while.it's supposed to be like a new legend, as he can see bad children and shape shift into trees and other things to get you.

and scar-man i saw on here first, it was listed in the horror catagory on this site. he has no mouth or lips? and finds you if you read his story or think of where he is and comes for you?

both were scary to read about. i think they are both supernatural, or haunt you when they are thoght of or are near. thank you and please write back.

Date: 3/22/2013 12:13:00 PM  From Authorid: 11097    I haven't heard of these either- although I wonder if the slender man has anything to do with the 'hat-man' or shadow people?

Date: 3/24/2013 7:47:00 AM  From Authorid: 11097    I also wanted to tell you if you haven't already- there are radio podcasts for the paranormal, such as Coast to Coast AM and Darkness Radio that discuss these same topics every night and you can even call in. It might be something that can help or at least be interesting for you
Date: 6/6/2013 11:40:00 PM  From Authorid: 65075    Slenderman actually originates from the German folklore creature, Fear Dubh.
Date: 11/8/2013 9:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 63161    Never heard of Scarman but I definitly know about Slenderman. I LOVE Slenderman, they even have games for him and BUNCHES of YouTube videos. Slenderman started way back but there are quite a few stories on a site where he started to become very popular. The stories are called Creepy Pasta, another good one from there is Jack the Killer... You should really check it out and read up on Slenderman and Jack the Killer. Creepy thing about Slenderman is, it actually makes sense, to the point of where I feel like it is real. I have seen pictures and videos as well as heard stories of kids just up and disappearing and never hearing or seeing them again. Its odd but very interesting.

I will look into the slender man that you mentioned. but for those of you who have not read of the scar man, the story is on this very USM site. I saw it under horror and it was so scary. I will look up the actual urban legend and try to post it here.
