So, since I've been back recently lurk around and I never seem to get messages in time (even though the messages button flashes), I thought of a solution. Simply message the individual(s) in either an older post you've made or that they have made so they'll receive the message in time. Rather than take the chance of the message not being red (after seven days messages are deleted) surprise your fellow USM'ers by sending a greeting in a posting regardless of how old the post may be, or when their last log-in occurred.
