well I have been dying my hair on and off since i was like 13... I typically use Nutrisse or Revlon. My hair has been many colors over the years... blondish, reddish, black, once it came out pumpkin orange by accident lol thankfully it was around Halloween time. Recently when I dye my hair I stick to dark colors, either dark brown or black.  |

I do occasionally. I like to do the red thing, the redder the better. I normally do the manic panic and dye my hair coke bottle red, haven't done it in a while though.  |

I use to dye my hair a lot, no grays for me yet! I have blonde hair, usually I get some lighter blonde highlights but not a color change. I'm so pale, that darker colors make me look like casper!!  |

Hate it when I press submit too soon. Try this again. But I am now 36, and the grays are becoming more and more to pluck. So I guess soon I'll have to dye it. Hate to, because I don't want to mess up the healthy natural texture. |

I haven't dyed my hair in a while. I use whatever is on sale, it all tends to take really well. Sometimes I order Manic Panic (its a hot topic brand I think) it got all the really wild, vibrant colors. And they don't wash out really fast.  |

Welcome back home, Kiki I do dye my hair. I dye it black (my natural color is reddish blond) I dye it because my natural color makes my face look very washed out, and with the dye it just gives me a very pale complexion. Even at my age I'm goth  I usually use black with blue highlights, and the brand doesn't matter to me. Technique I use it to comb the dye through my hair from scalp to tips. It keeps the color even and I have more control over where the dye goes. To keep dark dye from staining your skin you can put a thin layer of vaseline on your forehead, ears and anywhere you don't want the dye to stain your skin. I go to the salon and have it dyed blonde with burgundy foils...I've actually been dyeing my hair since I was 16..I've been every colour there is over the years LOL..eventhough my hair is dyed, I look after it and have treatments to it to keep it healthy..  |

I dye my hair all the time. I am in the Cosmetology field and strongly reccomend Garnier Nutrisse as an affordable brand. My colour for almost 3 years was Garnier R3-Medium Intense Auburn. But last time I dyed my hair, I used a light brown to lighten the colour, then I bleached two strips and put in bright red, then I got highlights. I dye my hair myself and reccomend just all over- scrubbing of the head. For highlights, I like caps so much better.  |

But I used my own Conditioner....which seemed to work just as good. Next time Ill treat myself to a good brand |

Hi Mama Kat  I don't dye my hair and never have. I would probably have to by 5 or 6 boxes of the stuff if I did to get the entire length of my hair .. LOL. My mother turned grey and didn't like it so she colored with Clairol Semi-permanent hair color. She liked that it washed out slowly over a couple of months, if she didn't like the color she selected.  |

I dye my hair sometimes, I used a box kit last week and completely missed the color I was going for AND my hair ended up the same color as my ex's new g/f, sooo I called a friend who is a hair dresser, and after threatening my life (again) if I EVER use a box again, she fixed it... it's a very dark auburn now instead of carrot top orange.... my original color is brown.  |

well hello stranger!! i dye my hair. since i was 166 and the first gray hair came in!! my mom told me to get used to it and told me to hit the bottle!!
i don't know what kind i use. just whatever my hairdresser sticks on there! she came up with her own concoction!! she likes this color and it sticks to the gray real good so all i have to is get a root job about every 6 weeks!!  |
