Wow, it's amazing how the time flies. I remember when I first stumbled upon this site by some weird stroke of luck. I quickly became immersed in the little tight-nit community that these pages seemed to house. I was but the ripe age of 13 when I first created my user ID here, and still to this day it is the only one I can remember without hesitation. I always find myself browsing through the pages of this wonderful place even now. I look, I read and I hope that this site is still enjoyed the same way it was by all of us so many years ago. The people who run this place are the greatest people I have ever had the chance of contacting. It's just such a great collection of such greater people is rarely found anymore. When I first registered, I was a troubled teenager with no friends, barely a family. I found refuge here. Had some great times and met some great people that still carry either presence or memory even now into my adult life. So many people I wish I could still connect to like I could in the old days. Never was there not a happy person in chat just waiting to have a conversation with somebody. So many great people have came in and out of this site. I just want to say "Thank you" to the oldies here at USM. People that remember me, thank you. You made a place for me to spend my time in a loving, censored environment. And, many of you have helped shape who I am today. I know, it sounds pathetic saying all of this about what some would see as "just a website," but to me, it was my home for my teenage years. I met one of my first loves on this site, and some lifelong friends. Thank you USM. And, to the people from the old gang: Please, get in touch with me, I would love to catch up with some of you.
