Washington State here has been beset with several wildfires over a period of probably the last month. There has been only 2 or 3 rainshowers (IF that many) in that amount of time. Instead of much needed rain, there has been heat, wind, and lightning (that started the fires). As a result, several fires have occurred, two of the biggest being two going as we speak in Central Washigton, filling a large area with thick, hazardous smoke and threatening to "join forces" and turn into a "monster blaze" as it's been called.
Long story on all the details, but essentially my request is for everyone who believes in the power of prayer to pray for RAIN, and a LOT of it, to fall on the fires and put them out!!! This is desperate! We need the fires put out, with rain and NO wind or lightning, then plenty of wind to blow away all the smoke that is choking everyone!
This all needs to happen VERY soon, because the majority of Washington (eastern washington anyway) has been tinder dry and high-risk for fires for almost the entire summer long! If rain comes, then it will put out the fires that are there and also soak everything down and avoid MORE fires, which there is currently a great risk of, even if the current ones are put out!
So I beg of all of you (even though I ain't usually a beggar! LOL) to please really start praying for rain in this state!!!
