Me and My Squirel

One moon lighted night.

I had planed to drink with my

Favorite Gurl named Buryl,

who likes to cuddle and curl,

with me on a full moon lit night.

I had the back porch ready with a

cooler of beer ready for a night of

Moon lit fun.

We went out back arm in arm and saw the bright Moon in the sky.

It ended when we heard a burp near the beer cooler!

I had shinded a light in that direction.

Buryl gasped with her hand to her face as we both percieved,

a squirel on its back and tausing back a bottle of brew.

Buryl about faced and ran with a face ready to hurl.

In record time, the front door slamed. I got me a botle from the cooler.

I sat down next to the squirel who is too drunk to run. I made a heavy sigh.

I got my new friend, earl the squirel , another bottle.

We both drank and passed out under the moonlight.

Date: 8/9/2012 10:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 10075    A sweet tale of surprise, loss and new doors opening. I actually like squirrels. Some people eat them and some people say they are rodents but I saw one hanging upside down on a tree once like a rug and it made me laugh. Also I saw one use a rope swing, just for fun. Like the read!

Squirrels are much more than people think. The grey squirrels aren't nearly as bright as some of the other varieties. However, they definitely have learned how to survive .. and they do that well. Some of the most intelligent squirrels I have seen are the Douglas Squirrels here in the Pacific Northwest. We have one wild one that comes up to our deck and peeks around the corner at us. She tips her head back and forth so cute, till we give her a peanut. So adorable.
