Your dream is very dark, and filled with warnings, and I would advise you to heed them. The road symbolizes life, from birth to death, and everything that occurs while traveling/living. The woman you met was your doppelganger, symbolizing you. The sack-cloth dress was symbolic of penitence or guilt. the fact that you noticed the similarity means that you were close to unraveling the meaning yourself. The beach symbolized action. The deep, dark water symbolized purgatory; the helplessness that you experienced was the irrevocable nature of death by your own hand. Suicide cannot be undone. Those jumping into the water around you and ignoring your plight were all the others who die by their own hand. The grief you felt upon waking was the knowledge that your death would hurt everyone around you, and you would be unable to do anything about it. ANALYSIS: Your physical has made you think of suicide, but you know that your death be bitter, and a terrible tragedy to those around you. You also know that if you wanted to undo it afterward you could not. Suicide is tragic because death is an emoitonal blow to everyone around you, even to the people that you think don't care. Suicide is NEVER the answer, and your dream is a warning that you MUST listen to. I would advise you to read the Near-Death experience of Angie Fenimore, http://near-death.com/experiences/suicide04.html Finally, if you cannot go out into the daylight, then you must turn the clock upside down and become a night-dweller. There are many people who do this; they black out their windows and take night-shift jobs. They breakfast at 8:00 PM; have lunch at midnight; and supper at 6:00 in the morning. It takes getting used to, but it can be done. Read the Moonlight Bay trilogy by Dean Koontz. His character, Christopher Snow, suffers from Xeroderma Pigmentosum, and he cannot let the sun touch his skin, so he is a night-dweller. If your mother cannot afford you, are there government programs that can help you? Don't be afraid or ashamed to ask for public assistance. Australia has a good social medical system in place. Can they help you out? Finally, remember that what you do *does* matter. We here at USM want to see you succeed. Hang in there! We’re rooting for you! |
