Its a bird! Its a plane! its a....oh dear...

Ever been terrified of something, but your crush was there so you agree to do whatever it is you’re scared of?

Oh yeah, that’s where my story is.

I am scared of heights. Veryyyy much.

Bout 4 years ago, Ali, Jesse(guy) and Blake (guy; of course) got the brilliant idea to climb on top of the school in middle of the night. (greeeeaaaaattttt)

I agreed, hoping they would either chicken out of fear of being caught or Not be able to find the ladder.

*groans* they found the ladder right by the gym dressing room.

Sooo showing off, the put it up, didn’t use it, they climbed the wall by lifting themselves up on this piece of metal over the door and kept doing that till they were on top of the roof.

Me and Ali just laughed at them not wanting to go up because 1- There was a camera. 2- the ladder would have fell over. 3- if it hadn’t, someone could walk by and see the ladder out of place.

So Blake jumps down holds the ladder for us, then puts the ladder back where the found it and jumps back up there.

This… is where it gets bad.

Lets get this straight, I’m 5’5/5’6. They are all a little taller than me (and I have nooooo upper body strength)

They all stand on this bucket and lift themselves up to get on the school roof (this roof is wayyyy taller than me! I lifted my arm, and my finger tips touched just the bottom of the roof)

So, I stand on the bucket. Bad. It breaks. Blake reaches down and grabs my fat self and helps me up (I’m amazed I didn’t pull HIM down hahaha)

I’m already wanting to cry and die from embarrassment. We sit there for not even 10 minutes and they are ready to go.

Now I really am fighting tears I’m so scared cuz I have NO idea how I’m going to get down.

They all jump down perfectly and Jessie and Blake jump down the second roof to get the ladder, Ali is watching them.

So, here’s my chance, I can jump down, if I fall wrong, I can play it off, they won’t see. Wrooooong.

I just jump down and EVERYONE sees me. They said I was FLAT in the air falling, but there was a raised spot of gravel/concrete My head greeted that first, my body followed.

Dead? Broken? 911? Nay. Ali and Jesse double over laughing so hard they are crying, Blake comes running over there laughing but then starts freakin out if I’m okay or not. I insist I’m okay and him and Jesse jump down, hold the latter.

Ali ends up saying “I don’t want to. I’m scared I’m gonna fall!” I gritted my teeth and told her if she didn’t get herself down that ladder in minus 1 second I was going to shove her over.

She goes, and I follow bout to step on her fingers cuz I’m wanting to feel the earth beneath my feet.

Our walk home, Blake is standing behind me makin me paranoid so I snap askin him what does he think he’s doing (I’m thinking he’s makin fun of me or something) but he just tells me hes makin sure that if I pass out, He’d catch me.

Yeah.. that’s my embarrassing story lol. Thankfully, none of them have brought it up. And 2 of them have forgotten it. Lol
