Little girl lives in famous fun place

The legendary Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington between Dallas and Ft.Worth is said to be haunted by a ghost of a little girl named "Amy". Seems this little girl was a child of the folks who then owned (some 100 yrs. ago)the then farm property the amusement park now sits on when it was still a rural area (the park has been open since 1961). It's said that "Amy" sadly fell and drowned while playing at the creek that goes through the park. People who have claimed to have encountered her(patrons/employees alike)say they have seen her peering out of the windows above the shops or even outside them at first being assumed as part of the park's theme because of her old fashion outfit until they look again and she's gone. She's more reponsive to other young children(who naturally won't know the difference)who she'll sometimes wave at and even excepted treats from them before. About 10 years ago I used to work with a lady named Brenda who had worked there for 10 years, she had been a kitchen manager in one of the restarants. She told me that "Amy" would sometimes play pranks and mess with her crew (she's known to)like move/hide stuff, she told me there were times they would come in the morning and like find the fryer on (dangerous). Brenda would like scold Amy not to mess with the equipment. She told me Amy could usually be bribed with treats to be a "good girl" and she'd settled down. Brenda would make a plate of cookies and put them on a chair in a nook and tell her "why doesn't she come and sit there and have the nice plate of cookies". A little while later she would come back and there wasn't a cookie left,it usually took care of the problem with the mischieve. Danny3

Date: 2/22/2013 11:54:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 64702    UPDATE! I found out on another sight of Dallas/Ft Worth area haunted places about this place. One correction her name is "Annie", another info. She hangs out or "lives" at the "Yellow House"aka- the candy shop, her old house she lived in when that plot of land was her family's farm. She's known to play with the curtains of her old room which is now storage or supply room with the office. So if you see the drapes open and close in one of the upstair windows above the old porch thats Annie. She also has been seen walking along the park train's railroad tracks that run near there. Date: 6/10/2013 11:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 64951    Oh wow that's crazy but check this out. The sis flags in Texas isn't the only six flags with a gloomy haunted history. In 1984, 9 months before I was born the Six Flags located in Jackson Township, NJ the HAUNTED CASTLE ATTRACTION caught on fire it was a possible arson. At least eight people died. Seven others were injured, authorities said.
Officials said it could take several days to identify the badly burned bodies of the victims, believed to be teenagers, who were trapped in the blazing structure Friday evening.
"Initially, we thought they were mannequins, but then we discovered they were bodies," said Police Commissioner Richard Borys. "It's going to be a slow task. We don't know if they were men or women -- that's how badly the bodies were burned." end quote.

Over the years stories of haunting's have be told. Some people say they can smell smoke from where the HAUNTED CASTLE ATTRACTION use to be or the Ghost of those who died in it. And you no what's funny is because I remember one year going to six flags and smelling the smoke and seeing a guy with that 80's look to him I thought nothing of it (mind you, I new nothing about this story when this took place and happen to me) Until me and I'm mother and sister's got into stories about haunting's and stuff and that's when I learn of what happen in six flags years ago. Pretty Creepy!

Date: 3/14/2017 9:53:00 AM  From Authorid: 64951    I'm no stranger to the hauntings that takes place at the Six Flags in Jackson, New Jersey. I was born and raised in New Jersey and I have also shared a story concerning my own hometown local haunting. I grew up hearing stories about the fire that took place there.
I didn't know that the Six Flags in Texas have such an interesting tale.
