My Friend's Prayers.. Answered.

Hi, everyone! It's been awhile since I've been on USM, But I've been pretty busy! How have you all been? I've been worked to death, but aren't we all? Haha :) Anyway, I wanted to share about something ... very INCREDIBLE that happened to me yesterday. Well I saw that my friend was pretty upset, and I texted her asking what was up.. She told me about things that had been going on in her relationship (I'm not going to post all the details due to privacy issues), making long story short: her boyfriend threatening HIMSELF to keep her from leaving him. Well, I was talking to her and (May I state that my friend is completely ATHEIST), after she and her boyfriend straightened things out, she admitted something to me. She said, "I don't know if I should be ashamed or proud to admit this... But when he told me that... The first thing I did was pray." Coming from my atheist friend, this was such a shock to me, but I was so proud of her (I am a VERY strong Christian, as she knows) and I said "No, there's no need to be ashamed. Your prayers were answered." And I just thought this was a great thing that happened from a bad situation, and I pray that she begins looking into the Christian Faith.
