It was a chiily day in July, Sammy was sitting in the master bedroom of the old abandoned house that was five blocks away from her home. The Ouija Board was resting on the bed in front of her. She had gotten the board for her thirteenth birthday but she still hadn`t used it. Her father had joked to her about the abandoned house being the best place to test the Oujia Board out at. Sammy had thought about the statement that night, and she had decided to see if it would actually work. Sammy had snuck out of her apartment building, and she had biked over to the haunted house. Now here she was staring at the Ouija Board, and holding the white wooden pointer. Sammy heard that some wealthy people had died in this very room after drinking poisoned wine. The room was unappatizingly dark, and Sammy began to regret her choice, but she was to curious to go back home just yet. She took a deep breath, and she slowly set the wooden pointer on the board. She wasn`t quite sure how to use this Ouija Board, so she did what seemed to be the most correct way she could think of. She sld the wooden pointer onto the letters H, E, L, L, and O, so that she spelled out HELLO. Nothing special happened, so Sammy tried again. Yet again she got the same silence. Sammy pressed down firmly on the pointer, and tried yet again. Still there was no answer. As Sammy was about to take her hand off of the pointer, it jerked wildly, and slid around the board to spell: HELLO. Sammy, abruptly sat down, aghast.
