My youngest was married this July so I know where you are coming from. I just wish I liked the guy more... lol. Maybe a father will never truly like the guy who marries his little girls, I don't know. Anyway... it was incredible being able to do that. Add to the fact that I'm not really her father either. I came into her life when she was 10 years old. Her bio-father basically ditched them. To have my girls call me Dad... gets me every time. Wasn't it a great day though? Alienmojo, we like Chris just fine sweetie, he's a good Christian boy, it wasn't that, with the sadness. I believe it was just finaly having to give her up, and face the fact that she is grown. Funny, it has never really hit either one of us like that before, even tho she had already gave us our three beautiful Garandkid's LOL. Corolator came into her life when she was about 5. So he's a wonderful Step-Daddy 2 !!! TY sweetheart, and Congrat's on your youngest marriage 2, Best wishes to you guy's as well !!! Our children truy are our future, and our life. |

Paddy sis, ty soooo very much. She was beautiful, and we were very proud of them. They did AWESOME !! It was such a wonderful day. Even tho our heart was heavy, about having to give our little girl away, we were very happy for them both !!! The cake was adorable Our neighbor had that made for them, as their Wedding gift to them. I thought that was really sweet of her to do for my Daughter and My new Son-In-Law !!! Love ya Paddy sis !!! |

Thanks everyone who comented here. It was a wonderfull day, except for the having to wear a suit part, ha ha.
But I'll tell al of you, when the day was over, SlickChick and I were physically exhausted. We'd had several days of running around trying to locate stuff we needed, and eating out for at least three days and nights, well it really ran me down. I was in bed at 10:00P.M. that night, I just couldn't hold my eyes open any more. But my genius little girl married an incredible young man. They are both involved in their church, and Mom and Dad are happy for them, and thats the important part, A HAPPY ENDING!...Corolator  |
