Happy Travels - Ginger

That was what the sign read on the wall outside Ginger's office, with lots of lines below for people to sign their names. There were envelopes in a basket below the posted sign with a note saying ‘Preparation Kit -Take one if your coming with us’Punk Star Chick grabbed the pen and started to scribble in her and guy, Nick’s name on the list. This should be awesome fun she murmured under her breath.

“What was that you said Punky?” Kronk said as he was just about to pass her in the hall. “I said  .. ummm … you gotta come on this USM trip Kronk .. OK, I didn't really say that, but I am now” her eyes were bright and sparkling as she spoke. Kronk did a quick u-turn to see the notice she pointed to on the wall, *I think I would really like to come, do you know where we are going on this trip, Punky?”. She smiled big “Nope, not yet. Hey, maybe there is a clue in these envelopes”. She picked up two and tossed one to Kronk.

By now a small group had happened along and stopped to see the posted notice and hear the conversation. Mayuka, Grace, Silver Alexis and Ky-Bluebird were all there. Fallin Angel quickly going somewhere stopped in mid-stride.

“OH WOW, that would SO make my month if I could go”  shrieked Fallin Angel loudly. “I KNOW, I know Lia ... isn't it great” Mayuka grinned “and we really could use a true vacation”.

Out of nowhere, Kronk gasped as he read the letter that he tore from the envelope. Everyone stopped talking and looked at him. Silver Alexis asked “ What’s up? Is it bad?” looking up at Kronk's puzzled face.  She couldn't have guessed that anything was in the note except for maybe the type of clothing to bring for the trip or required passports …

 USM's Halloween Contest 2011 

I know a few people been waiting to see if there would be one this year. The contest will be pretty much the same contest we've had in the past few years. These are the list of categories that will be in the contest.... 

1. Pumpkin Carving or Painting - A pumpkin that you or a family member have carved or painted. You must add your name in the photo as well, such as a piece of paper next to your pumpkin so people will know that you or a family member have carved it and it's not a photo off the internet or elsewhere. 

2. Halloween Costumes - This can include yourself, children, family members, loved ones or even pets in a photo. 

3. Halloween Decorations & Art -    Decorations - This can be your Halloween decorations at your home.    Art - Animated photos that you have created, drawings, video, painting or even baked goods (baking a Halloween cookie, cake, meal...etc). Please be sure to add your name into this as well so that we know you're the artist or baker. 4. Halloween Poem - Pretty simple...a poem about Halloween 5. Halloween Story - Fiction or non fiction story about Halloween. 6. Halloween Mix Up aka Other - For this category, this will include any funny, cute, odd, scary etc... photos that you'd like to share. For example:
