Date: 9/26/2011 12:34:00 AM From Authorid: 42945 I've never experienced seeing a ghost/spirits/apparitions, but it doesn't mean that others haven't. I do keep an open mind on these things though. I have sensed instances of strange things that I couldn't explain, that is why I keep an open mind. |

Yes I do believe very much in Ghosts, spirits, apparations etc. I've seen some questionable things - rarely an actual apparition, but my main personal evidence is what I experience. I hear things often, when going into a place where there are energies, it's like a story plays out in my head. And that could be rationalized as "I have an overactive imagination"... But when Ghost Hosting many years ago with other people who are interested, I've been able to cooincide my medium abilities with those of others and come up with the same stories. It's very cool! In my moms boarding house, I was able to tell her when she bought the house that there are at least two spirits here. The two I can pick up on all the time are the two little girls who drowned on the property many years ago. Our boarding house/home is over 150 years old. The properties original address was a name not a number. And we believe before this house was built, there was another house, and possibly servants quarters. The two little girls in our home are not malicious, they are quite adorable. They regularly run up and down the stairs, in and out of rooms, giggle, move things, and play with toys left around the house. My mother was trying to hire some workmen a few years ago, she was in the town over and found a man at the Home Depot (another customer) and began asking him about what kind of work he did. She was delighted to find the right guy and asked him to stop by and give us an estimate. He gave her a card and they started discussing times and where he was going. (Mind you this is the next town over! LOL) When my mom told him the house he stepped back and said, "Wait... You mean the house with the two little girls?" My mom was shocked and replied yes... "Oh," he said, "We don't go to that house." He refused to go but continues talking to my mom when his boss walked up and he told him with great amumsement "Hey! This lady owns the hosue with those two little giggling girls in the upstairs!" Yep... It was awesome. Wow, I could sit here for HOURS and write about all the reasons but I do have to get to my homework. If have any other questions I'll be back later. |

I believe that I have seen a few, and heard a few. Lots of otherwise unexplained things have happened in my life. I'm not sure about ghost orbs. I've seen a few in some of my photographs, but upon cleaning the lens of the camera the 'phenomena' went away. I also had a picture one time with a curling wisp of 'ectoplasm' which turned out to be someone's cigarette smoke. I don't think that everything that I've seen can be explained away so simply, and I have a sneaking suspicion that some of what I've seen has been my imagination playing tricks on me. |
Date: 9/26/2011 4:30:00 AM From Authorid: 64819 I think there is something, whether you wanna call it energy, spirits, or ghosts. |
Date: 9/26/2011 5:51:00 AM From Authorid: 64976 I believe in ghosts because I have lived in houses with them and one has even followed my family to a different state. |
Date: 9/26/2011 6:41:00 AM From Authorid: 13546 I do believe in ghosts. Due to personal experiences that just cannot be explained away by it being something "scientific". I am sure that there are many "hoax's" out there, but I am also certain that there are very real experiences out there. There is so much to this world that is unknown. |

When we started this website I can say that I didn't believe. In my Christian upbringing we were taught that Angels could be believed in, but almost nobody saw them so don't plan on seeing an Angel. But spirits, demons, ghosts were not to be believed. So guess what, I have had more than one occasion where the idea of ghosts could not be discounted in any way. My husband and I saw something disappear right between us. Two people can't be wrong or just have an overactive imagination. Then I saw a partially visible hand on my bathroom door. Broad daylight and not a shadow or anything I could recreate. I could see the shape of the fingers to know they were probably a woman's hand. I could see the fingernails which were short and not painted. Then I saw it disappear ... as in vaporize right before my eyes. I now believe! Not sure what I believe they are or why they are ... but I believe !!! |

Oh yes. I have had strange experiences a few times and have actually seen someone twice. The first time was in an old house I lived it where I saw the ghost of a very tall man walking through the livingroom. He then disappeared in mid-air by my fireplace. The second time was recently. I was driving home and saw my grandfather (who passed away in April) in my back seat trying to tell me something. I knew it was him in his younger days. When I told him I knew he was there and he was okay, he disappeared. So yes, I very much believe. |

Thanks everyone for your comments. I would have thought that the Appirition person would have had more to say about 'apparitions'. Thanks also Mrs. K, Nani, and Oddy. Ginger that must have been frightening to watch that whatever thing disappear like that. And the hand thing, just sent shivers up my back. |

Date: 9/27/2011 9:07:00 AM From Authorid: 10915 I believe in them. I have had my share of some unexplained things that I just can't write off as coincidence or mind games. |
Date: 9/28/2011 11:47:00 PM From Authorid: 21435 Hello there, Jewel. If not for "one" thing that happened to me when I was twelve years old, I would say I do not believe in ghosts. That one time casts the shadow of a doubt. I will say this though, "the human mind is absolutely remarkable." Good fortune during your travels through the shadow realm, my friend. Write on..... |
Date: 9/30/2011 1:10:00 AM From Authorid: 37843 When I was little (3-4 yrs old) I told my dad that there was a man and woman and their son and daughter lived in our house, he asked how I knew that and I pointed at a window in the kitchen and said "cuz they're standing right there looking at us." He picked me up, closed the curtains and took me in the living room. We stayed out of the kitchen that night lol. Since then I've had a few encounters and currently work in a house where there is a lot of paranormal activity. We all tried to convince ourselves that our minds were playing tricks on us at first, then one person slipped and mentioned something and so the rest of us came forward with our experiences. We were relieved to know we weren't losing our minds but at the same time we wanted to find out what was going on. We've gotten pictures and EVPs of things in the house and had all kinds of people come in to cleanse/bless the house, excorcise the spirits, etc. We haven't gotten anywhere on getting the spirits out and have come to the conclusion that there is atleast a demon in the house, possibly more spirits and it maybe more than one demon... I've always believed in ghosts/spirits so I guess I just accept that they are here and go on about my buisness. |
Date: 10/3/2011 2:04:00 PM From Authorid: 65081 I definately believe in ghosts. I love watching Ghost Adventures. However, I do believe a lot of things that we think are ghosts are actually other things. I find it hard to believe that God would allow a child spirit to roam the earth cold and scared. For that reason mainly I believe that some ghosts are actually demons put here to confuse us. Then there are residual hauntings that are unintelligent to begin with and do not have an actual person in spirit form. But there are plenty of intelligent hauntings where you can actually talk to the spirit and get relevant answers. So yes, I definately believe in ghosts. |
Date: 10/6/2011 4:39:00 PM From Authorid: 18155 Well of course I do and have been around them all my life. Some I interact with, others simply are passing through. |
Date: 10/12/2011 5:33:00 PM From Authorid: 18155 Of course I do not only believe in them but am able to see them. |
Date: 2/26/2012 6:30:00 PM From Authorid: 6003 I definitely believe in ghosts/spirits because of all the unexplained things that I have seen, heard, and experienced. |
Date: 5/30/2012 6:15:00 PM From Authorid: 7849 I do believe in ghosts. I have seen some unusual things. Growing up my toys would hover in the air, and when i would scream for my mom they would fall. I have seen shadows in my room at night, I have heard my name being called in broad day light. As I got older I lived in another haunted house where all the hands of the clocks would stop on 6. Cups thrown across the room, my room goes pitch black at night. I have seen people standing in the room in the reflection of my tv when it was shut off, when I have turned to look no one was standing there. Many other things I have witnessed. I know for a fact they exist. |
Date: 5/30/2012 6:16:00 PM From Authorid: 7849 and when I say "my room goes pitch black at night." I mean that it goes darker than normal... its obviously dark because it's night.. but it gets unusually dark, the ceiling turns black and it gets very cold. |
