for my birthday I use to go out with a bunch of friends and party... but starting about 2 years ago it's just become doing whatever i normally do for the day and then out to dinner with the hubby.  |

My birthday doesn't exist...lol....no really though this year for my big day my parents had a big cookout and they planned like some relay races and family games for everyone so the kids wouldn't get bored. It was a lot of fun, and kept the kids busy. But normally we just stay at home and TRY to have a nice peaceful day. The kids though, every other year we do a party for them with their friends, and family. I love planning their parties!  |

usually my husbands parents, my parents and my little family get together and go to a restaurant. this year it didn't happen. :/ everyone but my husband forgot my birthday lol. but he made up for it!  |

I stopped expecting that or even wanting that when I was about 25. I haven't had a cake in years. A nice dinner out with my husband is all I really want although he is never home on my birthday.  |

In 2009 I spent the day with my little buddy and we had a lot of fun. Last year I did have a big dinner with my mom and dads side of the family. This year I'm not sure....  |

 I'm glad you enjoyed Your Birthday Sweet MommaKat, so glad you are starting to feel much better, too!  ..I hope I will get to have a 50"s 60's Birthday Bash next Birthday, God's will Love music having family friends over, with lot's of food for every one & a Birthday cake, Edward tells me I'm like a kid! haha! why not, our Birthday comes around only 1 time a yr! ...would be nice to see the ocean too~! hehe* xx's T/C  |

what i get and what i want are 2 different things!! i WANT to have the day off and be all by myself or with my hubby. but i just want peace and quiet. what i GET is a cookout, cake rubbed in my face (thanks to my 41 year old BABY brother!) and a bunch of people at my house. this year i worked that day and we are working on redoing our front porch and carport so no party!!!  |

Last year hubby organised family and friends to come up for a bbq for my b'day..a girlfriend organised dinner out and a night of dancing with my girlfriends a few day before my b'day. Usually, though, family come up and I get loads of food organised, and one of my sisters does a birthday cake for me. ONe year, for our 40th (hubby only 16days older) our then 11 year old organised a surprise party for us..best present ever...:-)  |
