We hit the high 90's, with a heat index of 108 to 115. Miserable, to say the least. Wisconsinites are not used to this kind of weather. Must say though, air conditioner sales are really high this year, Lol.  |

Kiki, I am in Tx too, and its been horribly hot! 109 some days, I'm not sure what's its been the past couple of day, I've tried to stay inside. I am ready for a break, a nice week of rain....constant would be absolutly wonderful! :-)  |

111 here in Arizona, but that's the norm here, it gets up to 115 sometimes. I know the heat feels worse in more humid climates like where we lived in Florida. Stay cool everyone. |

It's been so hot here. I burrow like a rabbit in a warren in my house with the air on. I keep the air at 85 drink ice water and keep the ceiling fan on. It helps a lot. That poor little baby in the car.  |

On weather.com I have it saying 94, feels like 109; also it says: "Dangerous heat index. Outdoor exposure should be limited." lol. grrreeeeeaaaaaat...
Generally for the last 3 weeks it is in the high nineties, but maintaining a heat index over 100. YUCK! Last night I waited til the sun fell behind the treetops before I went for a run and found it rather pleasant, but I think the humidity was a teeeny tiny tad lower last night. Glad I'm not running tonight!
As for the baby in the back, I get SO mad when I hear stories like that (but not accidents)...then I feel SOOOOO bad for the people who DO forget--like they break their routine by having the baby that day and b/c of their normal routine don't even realize the baby is in the back. Sometimes it ends up very bad....just awful! I'm ready for the fall. Not for snow, just for that crispy, cool weather of Autumn!  |

Hey KiKi it's been hot here too heat index above 100 last week it was 109--110----so dangerous when it's that hot...went to the store last weekend, Rags whimpered to go with me, I left the truck running with the A/C on--- it's really not safe for any one to be out in this heat for too long, but we did have a thunderstorm yesterday & lot's of rain.....some relief although I think it's gonna be another hot smothery humid day today, think I'll mow the lawn later this evening!...Technicolor! hey Lady! it sure is great to see you!!....T/C  |

It has cooled off here since my last comment. It is in the low 80's, the heat index has drastically been reduced, and there is a slight breeze out there. It is a typical Wisconsin summer day.. thank goodness. I remember when we used to call days like this hot and horrible, but after last week's stretch, this is more bearable |

It varies between 105 and 115 here. Usually, this time of year, the high is around 102. It's so hot that the a/c keeps failing at one of my jobs. Some of my co-workers get sick from getting too hot. I can't even take my boys to the park or the lake. The humidity is outrageous, so the heat index is even higher.  |
