Yes Larry! Holy wow!...Thats what I was thinking too!...I can`t say I was up on her music...but she was so young. Drugs were the catalyst in many of their deaths. |

Very sad. I wish there were some sort of program to educate people about the dangers of being a celebrity. So many people who "make it" think that nothing bad can happen to them once they're successful. They just don't realize that when you're at the summit of popularity, not only are the odds against you bigger, there's nowhere to go but down!  |

I really liked her music but I cannot say that I am surprised. I agree with Arion. I believe that fame (and power) gives people an invincibility-I-will-never-get-caught-or-run-out-of-money-or-lose-my-fame complex. Sadly, I think I remember the parents wanting to take over her affairs (sort of like Brittney Spears) but it was turned down?  |

Of course, sometimes a blood sacrifice is needed in order for things to turn around. Perhaps this will spur some kind of action. Unfortunately, if there is some kind of law or rule put in place that helps parents of adults that may be in danger of hurting themselves or others, it will be abused by some people. |
