Date: 7/20/2011 3:20:00 PM From Authorid: 23963 I think it depends on how you use them. I have one of the original boards and yes they can be used to contact the spirit world, but I think that a lot of people that have had the negative experiences are "Curious" and have no idea that when you use it that you should always ask for protection first and take extreme caution when using. Without the protection and caution you can open many doors to places you wish you did not open. |

I went to a graveyard and took mine with me night before last...asked who was there and got "O-N-L-Y M-E" then the board literally jumped we asked who did it. and we got "G-O-N-E N-O-W D-E-M-O-N-S R G-O-D" asked a few more questions and got a name of "Rick" walked around looking for him in the graves never found anybody just sharing my most recent experience |

Anyway, long story short, yes I do believe in ouija boards being dangerous. I wish I could laugh with you guys that think I'm ridiculous, but I have own experiences. I was able to tell people things about their family members, I had no way of knowing. My boyfriend's long dead grandfather in Ohio's address for example. I was able to tell a name of a car, and model, color and year of a boy that went to highschool with me who had been murdered. I had to look him up in the yearbook when he died, I did not know him We were kind of having a party that night. So this former coworker of mine, who was there, said we were full of crap. So he gave us a challenge. Tell me how my buddy from up north passed away. The board spelled c-y-c, and he ran out of the room. I followed him and said whats the big deal, it doesn't spell anything. Oh yes it does he told me, his friend had died in a motorcycle crash, and he always referred to it, as his cycle. Thats only my first experience with this board. It almost becomes addictive after that.. Until one day, I had to run outside in the daytime because I had gotten so frightened, because of the words that came through became so demonic. Stay away from these things. |
Date: 7/20/2011 4:37:00 PM From Authorid: 62679 Oh I think I want to go look at the user reviews now, author 64813! I'd like to see people's experiences. |
Date: 7/20/2011 4:55:00 PM From Authorid: 16671 Didn't know the history Daughter so thanks on that. The thing about the Ouija board many do associate it with the occult. If a person associated a door knob or a pillow or a light bulb with the occult they could contact the spirits, good or bad. So the board its self is not bad, its what people make it into. So anything could make spirits come, good and bad. I could sit in my chair and just start talking asking for a spirit to contact me and it would happen. What ever a person is open to spiritually, the Ouija board or an Ironing Board, a person will get some sort of spirit contact. |
Date: 7/21/2011 7:31:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11097 Hi everyone thanks for reading and commenting! I was interested as well and looked it up and thought it was very weird that the idea originally was taken from as long as 1100BC and it wasn't a game, it was what the board is used for now, contacting spirits. I guess a lot of people wonder how just a simple board with letters and numbers on it contact spirits... but I think a lot of it also incorporates the users intentions, as a tool. I have had some very weird and scary experiences with the ouija board, would never play with one now, but I do think it can be an entrance way for lower energy. But that's just my opinion, perhaps it is just a game? O_O |
Date: 7/21/2011 7:42:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11097 Sand Ghost, wow... in a graveyard? Your braver than me, lol. Do you play by yourself? I haven't use one in years, the last time I did my cousin and her boyfriend were playing with it. I had played many times in the past with her and it worked very well for us. She asked me to play to "show" her boyfriend it really did work... I hesitated but went to put my hand on the board and it moved from all of our hands and went to "NO"... we put our hands back on it, and she asked why it said no, it spelt because "she" (meaning I) believes in God. Well... after that, never played one again and it was a very weird thing for it to spell. Thanks for sharing your recent experience and be careful! |

SilverSnake, yes... we had some weird experiences with the ouija board. None that I am very fond of, but I think it had to do with the people we were playing with, although we did see weird things in the house before playing with it! Hangman, I agree with you. I started playing with them out of interest and curiosity and I had seen adults I knew use them. I have to say, it worked every time for me, and it worked very well. I think that caused almost an obsessive problem toward the board, the fact that it worked. A few times it got completely out of control, even with asking for protection. I think whatever was in my house to begin with- the board opened the possibility for the energy to manifest a lot stronger because paranormal activity started to increase drastically. I eventually realized fault in what I was doing and stopped using it, I felt it was beginning to control me. I have shared some experiences here so anyone is welcome to read them. Thanks for the insight |
Date: 7/21/2011 7:55:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11097 Snookums, I believe you because I am one of those people that have had experiences with the board too. That's a great story, I mean how do you explain knowing these things- that you didn't know? The same here- I had it tell me a lot of things I never knew and I would verify them with other people and they were very accurate. I think, like you said, is what cause me to become obsessed with the board. I wrote my last experience with the board below, but one of the most scariest experience I had with the board was when me and my brother were playing with it. I (stupidly) asked it what I was thinking, it wrote the wrong thing. So, I said, no that's wrong. I asked who it was... it wrote this to me: "Princes of Darkness" and than wrote "you wait (not so nice word)... it stopped moving and I felt fire pass through me. I had never been so scared in my life... I went into a panic immediately and my brother started screaming because he didn't know what to do. We threw the board out and it took me hours until I felt normal again (with lots of prayer)... I had only felt something pass through me once before, when I was a little girl, I actually wrote about it in a comment on my other post asking if anyone ever lived in a haunted house. It was horrible. Thanks for sharing your experiences and I agree... it can be dangerous and addicting. |
Date: 7/21/2011 8:01:00 AM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11097 Firstborn good to see you. Yes, I agree with you... that is why when people ask how can just a board with numbers and letters contact spirits, I tell them "intention" and using it as a tool or medium. For some reason, I have contacted things that have scared me... I think I was a target. You know a lot of my stories and have helped me with so many things, including warfare. Your prayers have helped me many times and, at least to me, your word is golden thanks for stopping by! |
Date: 7/21/2011 3:42:00 PM From Authorid: 13969 Zel, i did not play by myself. I have found in my experience only certain "combinations" of people can work the board. sometimes it just does not work with certain people. I do not know why.. |
Date: 7/21/2011 5:24:00 PM From Authorid: 15157 We were kids when we first started useing it...it says very plainly Board Game onit. Not til later in life when we knew it was something extra was it tried and used. |
Date: 7/24/2011 4:51:00 PM From Authorid: 24673 This is very interesting, thanks. When I was a kid we played on it and it was fun at that time. As an adult I had a very bad experience and will never have another board in or near my house. |
Date: 7/29/2011 1:01:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11097 Kiki, I think a lot of young kids use the ouija board from stories they heard or actually believe it is just a game- and for many it is and it doesn't "work" but later in life when you realize what the board symbolizes it becomes something entirely different. I think I always knew what it was but didn't take it seriously as a kid, until weird things started to happen in the house O_o thanks for reading mama kat |
Date: 7/29/2011 1:03:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11097 Sand Ghost, you know it's weird because I noticed that too... a lot of the times I played with people and they said it never worked for them until I used the board with them or it would work better with certain people and myself... weird, I wonder why? |
Date: 7/29/2011 1:08:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11097 Nani, that is creepy! You sure someone was playing a trick on you?! O_o when we were moving out of the house I mentioned in another post, that I said was "most" haunted, I was cleaning out the closets in the downstairs where my bedroom now was because my stepmother moved in with her son/my brother. So, I went to pull something down from the top shelf and the ouija board fell on me... weird thing was, we didn't have one in the house for a long time- let alone in my closet? No one knew where it came from either. I think I left it there actually, I was the last one to leave the house... true story. Thanks for sharing your story and I know what you mean about getting a weird or bad feeling from them, I still do. Thanks for stopping by |
Date: 7/29/2011 1:10:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11097 Garbage good to see you! I was wondering where you've been! Have you ever written about your experience here? I have had a lot of bad experiences with them and I refuse to use them now. People ask me all the time to play and they think it's just a game, but for me at least, I know better. |
Date: 8/1/2011 9:01:00 AM From Authorid: 24673 Yes, I did write and post it on here, many years ago and I think it was called (It Came Into the House) something like that, anyway I wrote three I think all were about "It". Scary, true events. |
Date: 8/1/2011 1:28:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11097 Thanks for writing back Garbage, I will check the stories out |
Date: 9/27/2011 6:40:00 PM From Authorid: 48250 No they are not simply a game...I have never touched one & neither will I ever....they are an entry, a doorway to inviting demonic spirits into your life.....T/C |
