ahh..Idiots. I can't believe it either. I bet the jury didn't care. How can she not be guilty? Did they want to enjoy the flordia sun? Her life is ruined though. She will not be hired.. She looks like a drunk/druggie to me anyway. She thinks she's so smart. Just pray she isn't attacked by vigilants.  |

I would be willing to bet she doesn't last 6 months when she is finally released from prison. She will have to serve, possible, up to one year for each count of lying....my source is Yahoo News, so you'll know this is not a figure pulled off the top of my head. When she finally does get out it will be widely publicized. Can you imagine the mercenaries who are incensed by this who will come crawling out of the woodwork to get a shot at her? She might be off the chain' but shes not off the hook.  |

Actually, her mother is the one who should rot in hell for lying for her. I can see why the jury had to reach the conclusion they did, it doesn't make her any less guilty though. I think there are far more guilty people walking free than innocent people imprisoned wrongly....nothing will ever make any judicial system 100 percent fair.  |

She will end up paying the price later on. Just like OJ simpson was let off scot free from the murder trial, but later ended up in prison for a lengthy period of time. Horrible people like Casey Anthony will screw up again, no doubt.  |

I was shocked... but the biggest problem was reasonable doubt... which the prosecution did leave a lot of but i think she is guilty as sin.  |

...the jury was pro defendant from the beginning of the jury selection and, coupled with the fact that Florida has a record of NOT finding young women guilty of the murders of their children, plus the fact that she was an attractive caucasian woman ... But yeah, she will face a hard life ahead. People don't forget that easily. |

Heckler, from what I read, the state did a lousy job of proving it's case, but I do agree with you on juries letting white woman off in general. Look at that ministers wife who murdered her husband, even confessed to it, but the jury found her innocent ONLY because she said he abused her. Despite there not being a shred of evidence to support her accusation...that case bugs me even more than this. |

Not once did this woman say or care about where her daughter might be or who had her or if she was hurt!...She didn`t care because she already knew..because she was her babys Killer! All she did was party party party! Please God please don`t let her have anymore children. Justice was served my FOOT. |

I read up on this case because I haven't been following it... I can't believe she was found not guilty. I am in shock. Doesn't the jury realize she lied (which was proved in court) because she was hiding the fact that she killed her daughter?... and it doesn't seem odd to anyone she didn't report her own daughter missing, the grandmother did?.... O_O I am disgusted. But, life tends to come back and bite you when your karma isn't doing so well... As for her daughter, I hope she is in the grace of God... such a horrible tragedy.  |

I am shocked too that they found her not guilty...why do they think she was lying in the first place???? Obviously there has to be something there. I had reasonable doubt as to her innocence! Now we will never know what happened to that poor little girl. I agree, hopefully she won't get pregnant again and there will always be a stain on her for this horrible crime. Justice will be served in its time.  |
