"Amanda Knox had to be capable to coordinating a brutal, ritualistic murder between two individuals that did not speak her language, or any other that she comprehended. In other words they would have had to use sign language or something." -She was studying Italian and had an Italian boyfriend, I don't think it's a stretch to say that she would have managed. "--Amanda Knox would have had to conduct this murder from outside the room, or even outside the house to support the fact that she cannot be placed in the room. " - Or maybe she was in the room but there's no evidence to show it. |

...except she was only there for two weeks and I don't think "Hey want to go kill my roommate in a satanic ritual" is in the standard language curriculum. There's also the fact that there is plenty of evidence to support her being across town at the time of the murder, including witness testimony. CCTV footage only showed one person entering the flat close to the time of death, and it was Rudy Guede. |

I'd also like to point out that a trial in a court of law should be based on what DID happen rather than what COULD HAVE happened. If I judged someone on what might have happened to them yesterday I might be able to pin a murder on them as well. |

The judge found no merit in the 'Satanitc ritual' part of the prosecution's theory, if I remember correctly. If you speak Italian well enough to have an Italian boyfriend I don't think language would be an issue. Also, Knox never used that argument in her defense either, as far as I know. |

If there was any merit in your suggestion, wouldn't Knox's team have brought it up themselves? |

They've brought a lot of things up that haven't been covered in the news. The court has ignored a lot of the things that should have been acknowledged, and let's face it; when the entire world is looking at Perugia Italy and asking them what they're thinking, there's a serious problem. My next post will have information you'll be interested in. |

I'm no expert on this case, just wanted to add my two cents. I just don't understand how Amanda can be convicted for a murder, without any real hard evidence connecting her. I mean, how can you put someone in jail for the way you "think" it happened. And IMO I don't think she had a motive for killing the roomate. Why would an american girl thats never done anything illegal or bad in her entire life just want murder someone just out of the blue, it makes no sense. I hope the truth comes out for Meredith's family but I feel for Amanda and her family, I can't imagine what they are going through. |

A lot of people, including judges and lawyers all over the world have read the report from the first trial and asked that very same question. |

Rudy Guede's handprints, DNA and shoe prints were all over the place..plus his DNA was all over Merediths body. UH DUH, he did it!! It also makes no sense that he recieved the lighter sentence. I'm sorry but this whole thing just isn't right and has never set well with me since I first heard of it. |

The supreme court made a mistake by convicting Guede of a group crime. If Judge Hellman acquits Amanda and Raffaele, the 'group' will be gone, thereby admitting that the supreme court made a mistake. Italy does not do this. I suspect that Amanda and Raffaele's sentences will be reduced by eight to nine years on appeal, and they will have time off for good behavior. I do not however foresee an acquittal in their future. |
