Not really sure if they show this in America, but Ross Kemp on Gang's is a series about Ross going over to varies countries and meeting with the most voilent gangs.
The first time I ever saw Ross Kemp was in the highly popular UK soap Eastenders as one of the Mitchell brothers. He was actually a gangster in it, so I'm wondering was that one of the reasons why he went with this series.
Some of the area's he has visited are:
- Brazil - The Gangs in Rio de Janerio
- New Zeland - The Mogrel Mob
- USA - OC - PEN1 and the Skin Heads.
- London
- Russia - Neo Nazi's
- South Africa - Cape Town.
He also went to many numerous other countries. The most shocking one I've seen was the one in Brazil. Not only were the gangs their highly dangerous, the police are also as brutal as the gangs themselves. The main man in the Drug Control Centre admitted that the police will hold the gangsters for randsom.
I was also shocked about the one's that are in America, the White Gangs. He also did one on the Blood's gang, I already knew a bit about this.
It's one of the most interesting and terrifying series I've watched in a long long time.
If you are interested in the gangs, this series is a must watch.
Also the difference in the UK Gangs and the Brazi, Russian and USA gangs are very noticeble.
Martina Cole, a famous UK autor how is famous for her crime novels, has a series on Girls in Gangs. This is defo a must watch also.
