Small Talent

You! Hey! You! Yes, you! Come a little closer. I want to tell you a story.

It was a dark and stormy night...

Ok... fine! I got nothing of my own.

Here is another urban legend you might like. It's not scary, but it is amusing.

There once was a Russian man who had quite an unusual talent. He could write very minuscule writing and he was always looking for a good challenge. One day he decided to write all of Lennon’s works on a small postage stamp. Each night he would write a little bit on a section of the stamp before going to bed. It took him 15 months, two weeks and four days to complete. He jumped for joy when he finally finished and decided to go to a bar to have a drink with friends to celebrate. Although he woke up with a hangover, he went into his study to frame his work. After tearing the room apart, he couldn't find the stamp anywhere. He asked his wife if she'd seen it. She told him that she had seen a stamp on his desk, but she'd used it to send a letter to her mother.

Date: 6/15/2011 2:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 26303    Hahaha....although I'm sure that's not what he felt. Actually, I'm glad you posted in urban legend, cos really, if he worked on it for so long, his wife would know about it and wouldn't have used the stamp....unless she was evil and had the sads on cos he stayed out late drinking with his mates....lol

Date: 6/15/2011 6:31:00 PM  From Authorid: 51684    It wouldn't be the worst wife in the world... Joseph Haydn's wife used to use his handwritten scores to roll her hair! :O
