I went to Fort Sill about 14 yrs ago, when my husband graduated from basic training from National Guard. My biggest memory is how hot it was. You're lucky not to be going there in summer time. It was miserable.  |

Thanks for reading Snookums. Yes I'm glad also. My son said to bring both warm clothes and cooler clothes. The weather changes from day to day right now there. I'm sure it's better then Iowa right now. It's cold here again. Had some snow friday and yesterday. Calling for some tonight. Yuck! Sick of this weather. lol I'm sure this will be a great memory for us.  |

I've been to OK a few times. On jobs and traveling through. Some of the Indian Reserves are quite lovely. Have a great time!  |

You will LOVE it there! Go to the wildlife refuge in the Wichita Moutains. It is fantastic. It has a visitors center and everything. I lived in Lawton Oklahoma most of my life and miss it so bad. Wish I could hitch a ride!  |
