The very first thing you must know if you would like to understand this theory I have decided to present, is about words. In the beginning there was the word, and the word was God, and this is ideal. As a speaker of the English language (vaguely) it seems predominantly to be the case that my voice is my personality and i worry at the times this voice is less noisesome. But i hear the words i think and this phenomena becomes a vision and i consequently 'see' the words. I understand this may communicate strangely but I am sure it will sound less so when considering the little idea of mental imagery. There are tactile learners and there are audio learners while there are visual learners. I am a visual learner. This means I see pictures in my mind as i reach it doing thinking. Sometimes these pictures are feint sometimes very realistic although the most intense image i can think of is the world as it appears to be. The image before me now, of words on a screen, contains colours only describable in experience and i'll have to embrace all possible language in order to know the red i am seeing, the black, the blue i am seeing are the same ones all sighted individuals can see. (There is more to this thought than may meet the eye.)
Now my theory is somewhat slightly confused in the sense that what underlies it is one of two exciting possibilities, namely, this: there are indeed two distinct 'modes', ie, that of 'reading', and that of 'writing'. Each of these i like to think of as transforming to an image i see when i refer to mind. Essentially, the difference is minimal, but we like to start out on a clear a footing as possible. So we take reading, for example. I can read pretty fast, not too fast, not like Will Hunting fast, or Travolta in Phenomena the movie, but when i do i am likely to experience a picture or two. Same thing happens when writing. If I could read ultra-fast i like to think i would see more pictures in mind. And again, it's the same in reverse. Imagine looking out over a city park scene where each object comes to be visible to you. Are not these images merely a collection of words understood simultaneously?
In addition, i take it you know, there are philosophers who believe these objects appearing to us are 'ideas'; the oak tree is an idea, the bicycle is an idea. It isn't difficult to go one step further and make the claim that all ideas are in the mind of God, that is to say, all objects are being imagined by a divine genius. The point I am making in essence is that the pictures we see in life lose nothing of reality when considering that they are just words being read really fast.
So the basic theory I have is this: Life is being written at some incredible speed, perhaps lightspeed, the pictures we see are words condensed and the words condensed are pictures. Essentially, this is a theory of language, but whatever God is really doing, either reading or writing, he is doing it very quickly in order to make the image of the world.
