The thing that i always loved about Christmas is the feeling of joy and happiness, and my family always have a reunion this time of the year...a time to meet cousins and aunts and nieces...i am also raised as a catholic...and one thing i would like to accomplish is the catholic tradition in our country called "simbang gabi" where in you go to church early in the morning everyday, about 5am, just to go to mass...it lasts for a week or two and ends on the eve of christmas, they said that if u have completed it, you could make a wish and it'll come true, pretty fancy, huh? it is just so niceabyrinth |

I love Christmas but I don't know what to think about it this year. Me and my mum used to go out this time of year and buy loads of new decorations and my family would sit around at night and just be together. Now that my mum is no longer with me it makes me sad and although I know she wants me to be happy I wonder what its going to be like without her. I just remember all of my Christmases with my mum and that alone makes me happy to remember the good times. |

Christmas for me is the happiest time of the year. What makes Christmas for me is the decorations and the atmosphere in the towns. In my town York, in England there is always a funfair and lots of decoration and celebrations and a general good feeling and that good feeling is what makes Christmas special for me. ~york~ |

Christmas is my favorite time of year. Families get together, share lots of good times toegther, and then exchange a few gifts. I love all the cookie and pie baking too. It is fun to watch the kids get excited.GRAYWOLF65 |

May you have a Happy Thanksgiving, and a very Merry Christmas! I like to remember all that I do have, that I must be thankful for! And to remember...I may not have as much as some other people, BUT, there are many others out there, who have much, much less! Snuggles! |

When I was younger I absolutely loved Christmas. It was always nice to be with a big family..everybody together. Now it's just my parents and me. Since we moved far away 3 years ago our family sort of drifted apart and nobody bothers to get together. I still love the idea of Christmas though, there's always something magical about it and you're right Christmas in New York City is absolutely amazing. |

Hi, I was brought up and still am Lutheran so I doubt that my expierences are that much different then yours My most memorable would be when I was in eigth grade that was the year all the girls in my class got to walk down the church aisle and sing in front of the church forour Cristmas Eve program. It was also the year I got my first real stereo and the last time my family was all together and well the next year my Father had a stroke and things were never the same. |

sigh...I love how everyone seems so peaceful...everyone is just nicer to each other, but it's sad that it never lasts...this year, I don't want presents...all I want is a certain guy I love...Jason for christmas...sigh...we're "dating" right now but not "offically" going out and seeing each other exclusively, so I don't know...but I want to ask him out on or before christmas... |
