Author of the Month and Week

Hello USM!

Thanks to Hangman who kept a very detailed list, everyone who has ever received the Author of the WEEK has received an award in their profile. If you have ever been chosen as Author of the Week, and did not receive an award, simply send the link to the post to either Hangman or myself and you will promptly receive yours. I don't think we missed anyone, but if we did, please let us know.

You may have noticed that the Authors have not changed in a while, that is because each member of USM, makes it the great place that it is, and it is so hard to choose just one. So please, please, please send in your nomination for who should be the Author of the Week, or the month, and I'm sure Kronk would not mind nominations for Poet of the Week. You can be chosen as the author of the week more than once, but you will only ever receive one award in your profile.

Author of the week should be someone who submits quality posts that represent USM, not necessarily someone who gets a lot of comments of posts very frequently. So send your nominations in for whoever you think deserves it. You can certainly nominate more than one person. Just please do it in author only or in a profile message, and please add if you wish for the person you nominated to know it was you nominating them or you wish to remain anonymous.

USM is all about the posts and the comments, so lets all work together to recognize those people!
