MEMORIES.......ReleaseMe

The other day the kids and I were talking about various things from when they were younger. We were discussing how they used to pronounce certain words incorrectly and how funny they sounded. lol. I remember when they were around toddler age, they would call their blankets, "blanklets". LoL. It really was the cutest thing. They would always carry around their "blanklets" and put them over their heads. I even have a picture of them doing that.

Date: 3/10/2011 9:01:00 AM  From Authorid: 11097    Awww! How cute I used to have a blanket (well... er, my nanny made it for me and I kept it all these years and put it inside a build-a-bear to save it) lol thanks for sharing your memories with us and for bringing some good memories back to me
Date: 3/10/2011 12:09:00 PM  From Authorid: 26303    Love it! Love it even more that you taught them the correct way to say the word. Too many parents think it's cute and don't correct speech errors. Then they get to school with years of habits and we have to try to get them out of it. Well I do, it's part of my job.

But that isn't what your post is about. LOL Sorry!

My youngest used to say kerworry for quarry. His dad worked in one at the time and we thought it was sooooo cute. LOL, my eldest was so used to us articulating words correctly that he used to tell us off for making his brother say it. So we stopped. LOL
