Some of us try to give them out to those that never received them. That way when they log back in to the site, they can understand that there work and contribution here was rewarded and recognized. It also sometimes makes them very happy to see they got an award when they log back in.
Also its usually the same people that post or comment everyday, since USM does not have as many people as it once did. So we try to venture out and give to those that did leave their mark that didn't yet receive one. I hope this helps Lady Darkness.  |

Yeah, I see a lot of people getting awards that I haven't even seen before, but I'm probably not looking in the right posts and stuff. I haven't gotten many awards due to my weird activity, but I think that every award people get is well-deserved... I always thought that the Admins were picky with awards.   |

@}~~ Let me ask you something. Now if you get an award will it be because someone thought you earned it or because you wrote this post? I myself don't want an award unless someone felt I deserved one and not because of a post written about awards. I for one would not leave a website because I didn't have enough awards and if people do I think they are being awfully selfish.  |

We the Admins are always open for nominations of awards to people...Not everyone sees what some do behind the scenes on here and get awards for their actions unseen...Anyone that we see participating often on here will definately get an award from us, but it's only a msg away from the members here to nominate someone..choose the award and what you want posted underneath it and it will be done..Also remember that SOME awards are the Admins PERSONAL award and only those Admins can give them out, but there are other awards that any Admin can give out...Hope that explains it!! |
