A recipe to share??

Thanksgiving is here!! My family seems to always make the same dishes every year. We are having dinner at my house this year and I want to try a couple new recipes. If you have a great dish that your family just loves, please share it with us!! I want to try something new this holiday season.

I always prepare this dish for my family and it is always a huge success (which I'm sure a lot of you have tried it, But for those you haven't here it is)

HASHBROWN CASEROLE

You will need:

Two pounds hash browns, thawed (I always use the southern style frozen)

16 ounces sour cream

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 stick of margarine (reserve 1 Tbsp.)

1/2 cup onion, chopped

crushed ritz crackers

Mix all ingredients well. Place in a 2 quart casserole dish. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 45 minutes covered. Mix crushed ritz crackers with the reserved magarine and top the casserole. Return to oven uncovered and bake an additional 20 minutes or until golden brown.

PS. How about a fast and easy chocolate candy recipe??

1 1/2 bags semi-chocolate chips

1 can Eagle brand Milk

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Melt chips and milk in pot over medium heat being careful not to scorch. Add walnuts and pour in pan. Keep refrigerated!!

How it changed my life:

Hope you enjoy!! Let me know if you tried these and if you liked them as much as we do.

Angel Food Trifle
1 cup part skim milk ricotta cheeese, 2 cups vanilla flavored lite yogurt, 1/2 angel food cake, cut into 1" cubes, 2 1/4 cups thawed frozen berries of your choice, whipped dessert topping. Mix together the ricotta cheese and yogurt until smooth. Arrange half the cake cubes in the bottom of a medium-size glass bowl. Top with 1 cup of the berries. Top with 1 1/2 cups of the cheese-yogurt mixture. Top with layers of the remaining cake cubes, 1 cup of berries, and the remaining cheese-yogurt mixture.
